Save Up to £90 on PS5 Consoles and Bundles Before Deal Ends

Time is running out for PlayStation fans hoping to grab a next-gen console without breaking the bank. Major UK retailers including Amazon, Currys, and GAME are slashing prices on select PS5 models and bundles, with discounts of up to £90 set to vanish within days.

Whether you’ve been waiting for the perfect moment to upgrade or finally cave to your kids’ holiday hints, this could be your final window to save before summer price hikes and new game launches reset the market.

A Console, a Controller, and a Whole Lot of Savings

The deepest cuts are on the PS5 Digital Edition, now available for as low as £359 down from its usual £389 while select disc-drive bundles (including Spider-Man 2 or Horizon Forbidden West) have dropped to £459, a full £90 off list price. Even standalone disc consoles are seeing rare £50 reductions, a rarity since Sony’s 2023 price adjustments.

“I held off for months,” says 28-year-old gamer Aisha Khan from Manchester, who just bought a Digital Edition bundle with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. “I kept thinking it’d get cheaper. Then I saw this deal and thought what if it’s the cheapest it’ll ever be?”

Retailers haven’t confirmed how long the promotion will last, but stock levels are already dwindling. At Currys, the Spider-Man 2 bundle is marked “low stock,” while Amazon’s lightning deal page notes the offer expires “in under 72 hours.”

Why Now And Why It Matters

This flash sale isn’t random. With the PS5 Pro widely expected this autumn and major titles like God of War: Ragnarök – Valhalla and Wolverine on the horizon, retailers are clearing current inventory to make room for next-wave hardware. For budget-conscious players, that creates a golden though fleeting opportunity.

Plus, with summer holidays approaching, families are looking for indoor entertainment that doesn’t involve another streaming subscription. A PS5, especially bundled with a blockbuster game, offers hours of immersive play and now, at its most accessible price point in over a year.

Don’t Wait for “Later”

History shows these discounts rarely last. When similar £80 £90 cuts appeared last November, they sold out in 48 hours. And with global chip shortages easing but component costs still volatile, Sony has little incentive to keep cutting prices long-term.

If you’ve been on the fence, consider this: that £90 could cover a new DualSense controller, a year of PlayStation Plus, or even a stack of physical games. But only if you act before the clock runs out.

Because in the world of gaming deals, “tomorrow” often means “too late.” And your future self cozied up on the sofa, swinging through New York as Spider-Man will thank you for clicking “buy” today.
